1.succeed

succeed 表示“成功”,是不及物动词.His plan succeeded.

succeed in + doing sth = 成功做成某事。

succeed with sth:在某方面获得成功。

Scientists claim they have succeeded in finding a cure for cancer.

Very few people succeed in losing weight and keeping it off.

Frances achieved very good exam results.

2.achieve

He will never achieve anything if he doesn't work hard.

他如果不努力工作就永远不会有所成就.

He achieved because he was a hard worker.

他之所以成功是因为他工作勤奋.

May our two parties achieve even greater successes in our business.

祝我们双方在生意中取得更大的成功.

Wilson has achieved considerable success as an artist.

3.get

get也是不及物动词,只是它多用于口语,其后接的介词是to,后面如接副词,则不用介词to。

4.reach是及物动词,直接接宾语,无须介词,表示到达 。
